Henric & Joanna

Henric and Joanna Stillman both started dancing since they were kids. Dances like Lindy Hop, Bugg, Rock´n Roll, Double Bugg, Modern Dance, Jazz and ballet are just some of their repertoire.

In 1997 they coupled up to dance and compete in Boogie Woogie. In 1999 they became members of the Swedish national team and have since then entered and placed in many competitions.

Nowadays they are dancing and teaching all around the world in both Boggie Woogie and Lindy hop like Shanghai, Buenos Aires, Perth, Paris, Milano, Hong kong  etc. They are head coaches for the Swedish National Team in Boogie Woogie and are working hard for the whole team.

So impressive, isn’t it? And now we will have an incredible chance to welcome them in Rennes!

Vincenzo & Hyunjung

Vincenzo Fesi is a worldwide recognised dancer, teacher and choreographer. As a real globetrotter, he teaches and performs at the most prestigious swing dance events around the world. 

He was born at Lake Como, but Roma adopted him three years ago. Inspired by the incomparable Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly and Frankie Manning Vincenzo Fesi dances the Lindy Hop, the Balboa, the tap dance and many other jazz styles.

Vincenzo organizes intensive workshops for beginners and professional dancers alike both in Como and in Roma. He has a specific teaching method that he developed throughout his years of experience in the fields. When he teaches and when he performs, Vincenzo gives off a contagious energy that drives his audience crazy.

Vincenzo is not only a dancer. He choreographs, sings, presents radio shows and he is also a capable story teller of the history of jazz dance. In 2014 he wrote the preface of the Italian edition of the book “Frankie Manning: ambasciatore dello swing”.

Hyunjung Choi is a swing dancer, instructor and choreographer. Having majored in Korean traditional dance and enjoyed various dances such as dance sport and ballet, she came across swing dance in 2005, and instantly became fascinated by the dance.

Since 2006, she has been teaching various lindy hop classes with new ideas, aiming for the growth of Korean swing dance scene, as well as competing internationally to acquire various titles. Especially her name became known to others by winning the 1st place in “Hellzapoppin contest, Frankie 100” 

She continues to show her unique character in workshops and events all around the world. She is a passionate dancer who strives to better express herself, and her delightful dancing gives positive energy to everyone who watches her dance.

Simon & Ari

Ari and Simon are swing dance teachers, performers and choreographers. They are passionate about Lindy Hop and Authentic Jazz, especially in the context of their cultural traditions, their values and their place as an artform. Working together since 2016, they are now based in Madrid working globally as well as growing their online platform through Patreon. They are an energetic and rhythmical couple who love the interplay between the individual, the music and the partner during a dance and how it can develop into a beautiful conversation.

They hold titles from the International Lindy Hop Championships, The Savoy Cup and The Korean Lindy Hop Championships, among others. Their passion for the dance and the culture of swing has grown with them and is something they constantly strive to develop and express, whether in classes, on stage or in competition.

Nicolas & Alina

And the last detail, the pinch of salt in the mixture of butter and caramel – the third couple of teachers: Nicolas and Alina. Classes with them – a fascinating blend of French charm and Slavic austerity – are ultimately a joyful encounter, where everyone laughs and feels free to express themselves. Smiles and passion are always there, they like to share their knowledge in a relaxed and good mood.

We can count on Alina and her love of rigor to keep the cours serious, and on the historical digressions of Nico (graduate in history) to travel and learn while having fun! They had the opportunity to teach together “at home” (in France and Belarus), but also abroad, where they both won prizes in competitions, separately and as a couple. Many years of experience across Europe and the discovery of different visions, techniques and teaching methods strengthen their partnership, enrich it, and constantly inspire them for new projects.

Beginner – Caramel

You’ve just started discovering lindy hop, you attend regular classes or making regular workhors as a beginner and you have already made your first basic steps. This level is for you!

Intermediate – Kouignette

You have behind you minimum one year of experience in Lindy hop with classes, workshops, practices, etc… You already know the basic rhythms like the triple step, kick step and you lead/follow the classic variations in a couple in a relaxed way! Now you are ready to expand your vocabulary to set the track on fire!
